Laser Surgery
In 1991, Dr. Born was the first physician in the Kalamazoo area to bring CO2 laser surgery into the office setting. The laser is used for a variety of services:
- Dermatology – Warts, sun damaged skin, moles, epidermal cysts and skin tags
- Gynecological – Cervical dysplasia and vaginal warts
- Proctology – Hemorrhoids, anal tags
- ENT – Uses include laser assisted uvulapalatoplasty for snoring and sleep apnea.
